char code
ženklo kodas statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis ↑Ženklą identifikuojantis natūralusis skaičius (kodas) tam tikroje ↑koduotėje. Dažniausiai vartojami 8 ir 16 bitų kodai. Tas pats ženklas įvairiose koduotėse gali turėti skirtingus kodus. Kodu į kompiuterį galima įvesti ženklą, kurio nėra klaviatūroje. Pavyzdžiui, operacinėse sistemose „Windows“ laikant paspaustą alternatyvos (Alt) klavišą reikia skaitmenų dalyje surinkti keturženklį ženklo kodą, esantį nustatytos kalbos 8 bitų koduotėje (lietuvių kalbos – koduotėje „Windows-1257“). atitikmenys: angl. char code; character code; codepoint ryšiai: dar žiūrėk – koduotė dar žiūrėk – ženklas
